We are Patrick and Holly, and we have been married for 14 years. After trying to start a family, we quickly discovered that it would be very difficult for us to conceive naturally. After struggling for six years with infertility, we decided that adoption was the next step of our journey in creating a family.  We believe all along that God was calling us to adoption.  We adopted our son Caleb 2 years ago and are excited to expand our family again.  He is truly our rainbow after the storm.


People would describe us as genuine, fun, loving, and family-oriented. We will raise your child with Christian beliefs and help them become the person they were made to be by supporting them and helping them find their gifts and talents. We have amazing friends and family who cannot wait to welcome in and love your child unconditionally. 


We believe it's important to discuss adoption from an early age, and we are comfortable with whatever level of openness you would like to have, whether it is private or open, through exchanging photos, phone calls, emails, or visits. Dan is the most amazing person on the planet. He is everything that I ever wanted in a husband, and our son, Garrett, is so lucky to have him as a father. He is kind, patient, and hard-working. He loves to spend his free time playing with Garrett and teaching him new things. I am 

so proud of the parent he is; Dan was meant to be a father.

Our Story

We both grew up in the same town and are high school sweethearts. We went to school together since we were in 6th grade, but didn't get to know each other until our senior year when we shared two classes and were on the chess team. 


After a few months of getting to know each other, I asked her out. During that time I realized that not only was she beautiful and smart, but she was also very driven and caring. Not to mention her smile is infectious. Then I decided that if you really like someone you put a ring on em', so I proposed the day we graduated high school. 


We were engaged for 4 years before we got married. It was an intimate wedding with a small group of friends and family. 

We have a strong marriage and we complement each other well. Holly keeps me driven by motivating and encouraging me and I help reel her in by telling her she doesn't need to do everything and that's okay.

    • Meet Caleb

    We were so ecstatic the moment we got the call that we were matched with our son Caleb the day he was born. We hopped on a plane to Texas early the next day to meet our son! Caleb was an answer to our prayers and has blessed our lives immensely. His birth mom is the most selfless women we know and we love her soooo much. We have an open adoption plan and give his birth mom the choice of the level of contact she prefers. 


    Caleb is an active young boy who loves to learn. He knows his colors and is now learning how to count. He enjoys mommy and daddy counting with him. Caleb loves trains, rescue and construction vehicles. He loves his fruit, including strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. He enjoys playing hide and seek and playing in the sandbox with diggers. He loves to play pretend with his firetruck and help rescue people while putting out the fire. It is such a joy guiding him and teaching him new things. He is soooo excited for a sibling and we will catch him saying baby often. Having another child through adoption will bless both children as they will have each other.

    Our Home

    We live in a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom ranch style home on almost half an acre of land. Our community has a "small-town" feel with quiet neighborhoods, natural areas, and a historic downtown. We are within walking distance of a park with a splash pad and walking trail which we use frequently for stroller and dog walks. 


    We have a nursery setup that we designed. Pat created the accent wall, and I hand-painted monkeys throughout. We are so excited to read stories, sing lullabies, and make beautiful memories with Caleb's sibling!

    • Our Community

    Our neighbors are super friendly, and we get together often. They even surprised us with a welcome home sign when we adopted Caleb. We have great schools, and the library always has activities going on. In the summer, you will find a farmers' market, movies in the park, and baseball games. Caleb had swimming lessons this year, and we went to the pool with lots of fun water slides. In the winter, there is curling and ice skating. We are about 30 minutes from several larger towns with many other fun family activities.

    • Patrick's Family

    Patrick is the youngest of two boys. His brother and Shaunna live in Washington, while his mother lives in our hometown. This will be the 3rd grandchild for Patrick's parents. Patrick has a lot of cousins, many of whom still live in Wisconsin. His grandmother lives about 30 minutes away from his mother, so we often get to visit her pond in the summertime. We also love going on a family camping trip to a campground once a year. Both of our families are looking forward to welcoming a new addition.

    Holly is the 4th of 5 children. She has two older brothers, an older sister, and one younger sister. Her parents and siblings live in our hometown, about ~1.5 hours from us. Her oldest brother is married and has two children, who are very excited to meet their new cousin. We do many holiday and birthday parties with her family, and Holly is always coming up with crafts to do with everyone. We had a train theme B-day party for Caleb with a homemade train car!

    • Our Pets

    We have a rescue dog and cat who we love to spoil. Our 7-year-old black lab is named Eclipse, and our 15-year-old cat is named Barbie. Eclipse treats everyone like a friend and loves to cuddle. Barbie loves to be pet, especially at night when we are sleeping in bed. We also have a 2-year-old Brittany Spaniel named Cosmo Kramer, who we got just two weeks before we were matched with Caleb! All are excited for a new best friend!

    • Out of This World Adventures 

    We are an active family and try to attend as many kid-friendly events as possible in our village. We visit the zoo, museums, and holiday events. There was a hot air balloon festival, airplane breakfast, and a safety fest in town where Caleb got to go in a firetruck.


    We enjoy exploring the outdoors, hiking at state parks, and visiting different children's playgrounds. 


    We love to travel, whether to see friends and family or to brand new places. So far, we have taken Caleb to the Wisconsin Dells with family, and he had a fun time with his cousin. We look forward to all the adventures ahead of us as a family of four!

    Our holidays are always filled with fun activities and traditions! We get together with family and friends for Thanksgiving, where we watch football and stuff ourselves silly. The next day, we go to our hometown Christmas parade and Chili Walk, where we vote for the best chili from local businesses. We also love baking and decorating cookies, having breakfast with Santa, attending the church Candlelight service, and cutting down our Christmas tree. For New Year's Eve, we get together with friends or family for a fun night of games.

     

    At Easter, Patrick's grandparents host brunch after church, and then we have supper with Holly's Family. This, of course, is after finding the Easter baskets that have devilishly been hidden somewhere around the house. 

    The Fourth of July is spent watching fireworks and camping at Patrick's grandmother's pond with the family. 


    During the fall, there's a festival at the nature center with archery, wildlife tours, a hay bale maze, sack races, face painting, and hayrides. For Halloween, we carve pumpkins, visit an apple orchard, and trick-or-treat with friends. We enjoy putting together fun costumes, which will be even more fun with another little one!

While we cannot imagine the feelings you have or will experience in your decision to create an adoption plan for your child, we hope you feel loved and supported, and we personally want you to know how brave and selfless we think you are. We are Andy and Mandy, and we currently share our home and lives with 2 very different yet equally fun and snuggly doggos, Sophie and Maxx. Andy and I have been married for 8 years and together for just over 20 years. Our early years in our relationship were spent having fun, growing as individuals and as a couple, and then establishing our careers. We knew early into our marriage we wanted a family. We tried for years to grow our family on our own, but through many different tests and treatments, we realized that may not be something we are able to do. Throughout our relationship, we had always been open to adoption; many friends and family have shared their journey with adoption and fostering, so our hearts were always open to this, and we have seen that biology doesn’t define the love and care provided to a child. Because of our family's experience in adoption and fostering, we know the importance of your child understanding their birth story, where they came from, and how truly special they and their birth family are to us.     Hello & Thank You , We’re Bob and Leslie, and we are so thankful you’re taking the time to read about us and consider our family for your adoption plan. We can’t understand everything you are feeling right now, but we know that you are trying to find the right path forward for yourself and your child. We hope we can be a part of that. If you choose us to raise your child, it will be the greatest blessing of our lives. We’ve been married for sixteen years, and we’ve always wanted to grow our family. After a few unsuccessful years trying to conceive naturally, we went to a fertility clinic. We took a lot of supplements and tried multiple rounds of IUI and IVF, but they were also unsuccessful. Conceiving was not in God’s plan for us; that was difficult and sometimes hard to accept. But we both still knew that we wanted to be parents, so we began learning about adoption and speaking to friends who have adopted children, which is how we found Adoption Angels. We have also been fortunate to have friends who were adopted themselves and who have given us insight into adoption. We want to be parents because we know growing up can be so difficult. We want to be there for your child when they need support, encouragement, help, and advice. Or when they just need to know that someone cares about them, loves them, and will always be there. We want to help them discover things they love and see their own talents. We want to nurture their interests so they can pursue things they are interested in and enjoy, to help them lead a happy and fulfilling life. We will do everything we can to ensure your child grows up in a safe and supportive home, surrounded by our community of friends and family. We strongly believe in setting a good example for how to be ethical and honest, providing a good education, and the chance to travel and see the world. Finally, it is important to us that your child always knows the story of their adoption, to know where they came from and who you are as well. Our goal is for you to get to know who we are in an honest and real way. Adoption has a complex variety of feelings for all parties involved, especially for you. We can't begin to understand the emotional and overwhelming circumstances you have had to face in making these difficult decisions. We want you to know we support you and think that what you are doing is selfless and generous beyond comprehension. From an early age, I knew carrying a child to full term would be highly unlikely. So, when we met, having children was a part of our early conversations. We always wanted a family and knew adoption was going to be how we would become parents. This led us to adopt our beautiful and sweet son, James. We have so much more love to share with another child, and James is waiting with open arms and a welcoming smile. Our upbringing has significantly shaped who we are today, including our parenting style and how we plan for our future. Both of our parents are still married, and observing their relationship through both happy and challenging times has taught us the importance of commitment in maintaining a long-lasting marriage. Our family includes no shortage of caring aunts, fun uncles, and many young cousins to grow up with. One thing you can be certain of is DOTING GRANDPARENTS!! Though we could never imagine what you're going through, the courageous, compassionate, and generous spirit you display is inspiring. We are Gracie and Ronnie - a young, active, and goofy family of two. We moved to Texas shortly after getting married and have been trying to grow our family by two little feet ever since. After undergoing years of tests, procedures, and treatments, we believe that adoption is the path that the Lord has chosen for us. Although we initially thought we would have biological children before pursuing adoption later in life, after much prayer and surrender, we have come to realize that adoption is a joyous and fulfilling way for us to grow our family. Our home is a place of warmth, love, and laughter, filled with travel adventures, cozy cuddles, and delicious baking. We eagerly pray to welcome a child into this nurturing environment. Both of us have flexible work schedules, and Gracie is excited to be a stay-at-home mom when our family grows. We are blessed to have close relationships with our family and friends, many friends we even consider to be family. Several of our friends have young children or are in the process of starting their own families, and we can’t wait for our children to have built-in best buds!     Hello & Thank You , First and foremost, we are so grateful for your consideration. While we cannot imagine all that you are going through, we support you. While we may never fully know the sacrifice you are making, we are grateful. We have longed to build our family for many years, and it is truly humbling to have you get to know us. We always knew that adoption would be a part of our family, and it has proven to be the biggest blessing in our lives. After we were married, we discovered that we had unknown fertility issues, and that was our sign from the Lord to choose to grow our family through adoption. We adopted our daughter Caroline at birth almost three years ago, and she has brought so much love and joy into our home and family. Now, we have hopes to bring home another sweet blessing, and we know that Caroline will be the best big sister! Our home is full of laughter and fun, and we truly love to spend time with each other.     Hello & Thank You , We are Adam and Jaime, and we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We can only imagine how incredibly difficult this decision is, and we admire your courage and strength during this challenging time. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We have been married for 11 years and together for 13 years. Adam and I knew early on in our relationship that we always wanted to be parents and start a family. Our journey to parenthood has been a challenge for us. Over the last ten years, we have had four failed IUI treatments, five failed IVF treatments, and two miscarriages. Through all our failed attempts to start a family, we continued to support each other and remain resilient in our desire to become parents.     Hello & Thank You , Just saying thank you isn't enough for us to express our gratitude for considering us to be adoptive parents. We cannot begin to understand how difficult this decision is and that it is not taken lightly. No matter your decision, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are Amanda and Spencer. We have been together over ten years and have been married for three. From the very beginning of our relationship, we talked about starting a family, but God had different plans for us. Unfortunately, Amanda has faced health challenges that have led to infertility, which won't allow us to have our own biological children. Adoption has touched both our lives in meaningful ways. Spencer's mother was adopted, and she is ecstatic that we are pursuing this path. In addition, Spencer has two adopted cousins, and I have one as well. Both of our families are loving and supportive of our decision, and we are all ready to share unconditional love with a child. Since we both have relatives who were adopted, we believe it is important for your child to understand their adoption story from the very beginning.     Hello & Thank You , We are Damon and Amanda, and we thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family. We can't imagine how hard this choice must be, and we have SO much respect for you. Your courage is truly admirable. We hope our story will be helpful as you make your choice. Please know that no matter what you decide, we wish you and your child nothing but the best, and you will both be in our prayers. We would love to share a little about ourselves, and hopefully, this book will give you a clear picture of who we are! We have grown so much during our years of marriage! Our journey has included buying a house, starting new jobs, surviving a pandemic, experiencing years of infertility and loss, going on many trips, and so much more. Throughout the highs and lows, our relationship has only become stronger. We feel very blessed to have wonderful parents and grandparents who model healthy relationships. They have taught us invaluable lessons and instilled strong morals in us. From the beginning, we have known that we wanted children and planned to have them at a young age. However, we faced three years of infertility and treatments, which ultimately resulted in loss. Going through it all taught us many important lessons and brought us even closer to each other and to God. We have always wanted to adopt, and we feel that now is the right time to do it! For us, raising a child means reading books together before bed, quality family time, lots of outdoor adventures, supporting whatever dreams he/she may have, and a home full of laughter. We value communication, kindness, and passion. Our goal is to create a loving environment that inspires creativity and curiosity, embraces differences, and opens opportunities for learning and growth. Our home is filled with warmth, love, laughter, and support. Adoption means a lot to us! It represents strong people who love a child so much that they come together to build a wonderful relationship, ensuring the best care for that child. We have inspiring adoption stories within our extended family and friends, and we are grateful for their incredible support as we embark on this journey.
