Our names are Brandon and Melody, and we are so glad to meet you! We can’t fully understand the weight of the decision you’re facing in making an adoption plan, but we deeply admire your courage and strength. What you are considering would bring immense joy to a family who has likely spent years longing for a child to love. Through this letter and album, we’d like to share a bit about ourselves and why we’ve chosen adoption. We met and married in southern California and have been married for 12 years. Since moving to Texas, we’ve built a loving home and community here. We believe God called us to be parents, and while our path to parenthood has been unexpected, adoption has always been on our hearts. Melody was adopted at birth and understands the incredible blessings of adoption firsthand. After five years, many tests, and three failed IUI attempts, we began pursuing adoption. In December 2023, we were blessed to adopt our son, Aiden, and our lives have been forever changed. Now, we hope to adopt again to share our love with another child and allow Aiden to grow up with a sibling. 


If chosen to be your child’s adoptive parents, we promise to raise them in a loving Christian home, teaching Biblical principles and morals. We’ll provide opportunities for them to grow, learn, thrive, and develop a deep sense of love, respect, and responsibility, all while offering unconditional love and support. Additionally, Melody can uniquely answer any questions your child may have about their adoption as they grow. 


We are surrounded by a large, loving network of family, friends, and a supportive church community who will joyfully welcome your child into our lives. Melody’s experience as an adopted child makes her especially sensitive to the importance of understanding one’s roots. If chosen, we hope to develop an ongoing relationship with you and walk alongside you in this journey.

Meet Brandon

Meet Dan

Dan is the most amazing person on the planet. He is everything that I ever wanted in a husband, and our son, Garrett, is so lucky to have him as a father. He is kind, patient, and hard-working. He loves to spend his free time playing with Garrett and teaching him new things. I am 

so proud of the parent he is; Dan was meant to be a father. 

Meet Brandon

Brandon is also a loyal friend and wise beyond his years, often serving as a sounding board for those who need guidance. But he also has a playful side, especially with those he’s closest to.

When Melody worked, her coworkers affectionately called her the "Office Mom," and now, as a stay-at-home mom, I’ve seen her motherly heart truly flourish as she loves and serves our son, Aiden. As a mom, she is loving, patient, creative, consistent, fun, and always well-prepared. I know she is excited to see our small family continue to grow.


Melody is an excellent planner and multitasker, working efficiently and quickly, which complements my more analytical engineer's brain. She loves to travel, and we enjoy going on adventures together—even when those adventures lead us to getting lost!     • Our Story

    We met in southern California in 2009 at our church’s singles ministry and began dating in 2011 after spending time getting to know one another as friends. We spent multiple evenings each week at the church attending services and serving as college student leaders. We also spent countless hours hanging out, eating meals, or attending other events with our friends. Our shared love for our family, friends, church, travel, good food, and all things sci-fi and Disney solidified our status as each other’s best friends. We got engaged at a beautiful botanical garden on Mother's Day weekend in May 2012.


    Four months later, we got married surrounded by those we love most in the courtyard of our church on an unexpectedly hot day in September. Our wedding was the first to be held in the small courtyard, but we saw the potential in the space and were convinced it was just right for our wedding. With the help of our friends and family, we pulled everything together for a beautiful DIY wedding full of joy and love. Melody even arranged all the flowers!

    • Meet Aiden

    Aiden is our silly, adorable, fun-loving ball of energy! We had the wonderful privilege of adopting him just before he turned four months old, and we fell in love with him immediately. From the start, we couldn’t imagine our lives without him!


    Aiden was an early crawler and walker, and he hasn’t slowed down since—keeping us on our toes with all his running and climbing! He’s determined, curious, and adventurous, constantly pointing at things and saying “dat dat” to learn what they are.


    Reading is one of his favorite activities. To keep up with his love of books, we’ve invested in some “indestructible” ones that have held up to his intense affection. From the start, Aiden has been a water baby, loving bath time and as he grew, pool time! He also enjoys climbing and sliding on his jungle gym slide, a gift we gave him for his first birthday.


    Aiden is also a big fan of animals, especially dogs, and we enjoy trips to the zoo when the weather cooperates. Aiden loves being out and about—whether cruising in his stroller, running at the park, walking at the mall, or riding in the shopping cart. We can’t wait to watch his little personality continue to grow and one day see him become a big brother!

    • Our Home

    Shortly after we got married, we made the decision to move from Southern California to Texas. In 2013, we purchased our first home together and have spent the past 11 years making it our own. From painting and building furniture to decorating, we’ve truly become a DIY couple. Our home is two stories with four bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. We spend most of our time on the first floor in the kitchen and living room, but we also have a game room upstairs with Disney posters, where we put our Christmas tree every year.

    We love hosting friends and family, and we can’t wait to turn one of our bedrooms into a second nursery. Visitors often comment on how cozy and homey our house feels, and we couldn’t agree more!

    We live in a quiet neighborhood near numerous walking trails and parks. We also live close to an amazing children’s museum, the zoo, the local town square, and a unique state park with alligators! Our church has many young families, and it’s been a wonderful built-in support system throughout the adoption process and our journey as parents. We’re excited for more playdates and family time at these places, and we look forward to discovering even more spots to explore together.

    • Brandon's Family

    I’m the middle child of three, with a brother who is two years older and a sister who is two years younger. I have two nieces and one nephew. While my family isn’t large, we are very close and supportive of each other. We love spending time together—eating meals, watching movies, and playing games. Christmas is a big deal for us. My mom and stepdad love to host, and they go all out with gifts, meals, games, movies, and lots of cookies! It’s always a special time of year, and we make every effort to spend it together.


     My older brother is also a Mechanical Engineer, but with a Master’s degree. He used to build space rockets for work (he’s super smart)! He and his wife live in Southern California, which is always a great place to visit. My younger sister is a full-time mom and absolutely loves it—funny because when she was younger, she said she never wanted kids, and now she has three! My mom works in payroll and is incredibly hardworking, which is something she was intentional about instilling in us. My mom and sister live just a few minutes apart in Northern California, so that’s typically where we spend Christmas.

    My family has been super supportive of Melody and me throughout the adoption process, and they absolutely love Aiden! They are beyond excited to meet our future child, who they will love just as much and always be there to offer support and encouragement.

    I was adopted at birth by my parents after their struggle with infertility. By God’s grace, after adopting me, my mom was able to get pregnant, and just a week before my first birthday, my baby sister was born. Over the years, my family grew, and I am now one of six girls—one through adoption and four stepsisters. I also have three nieces and four nephews, ranging in age from under a year to 11 years.


    My mom, a retired nurse, still lives in my childhood home by the beach in Southern California, and we cherish every opportunity to visit her. I owe much of who I am today to her love and support. My dad, a psychologist, and my stepmom live an hour away from us in Texas. He is a loving father and grandfather who can’t wait to add another grandbaby to the family. We often spend time with them and three of my sisters and their families, who also live nearby. My other two sisters and their families are in California, and we see them whenever we can. My whole family adores Aiden and is excited about the growth of our family. They have been incredibly supportive of our decision to adopt again.


    Having been adopted myself, I understand the importance of knowing where you come from. I always felt loved and wanted by my adoptive family, but I was also grateful to have an open, ongoing relationship with my birth mother, half-siblings, and extended family. Although we don’t see each other often, I value having them in my life, and they are also thrilled with our decision to adopt. Because of my personal experience, Brandon and I are open to having an open adoption for our family as well.

    • Greetings From…

    We love to travel and go on adventures! We enjoy road trips, cruises, camping and hiking, as well as visiting new and exciting places, especially with our friends and family. Some of our favorite destinations include Hawaii, Alaska, Italy, Israel, and Greece. Our favorite national park is Yosemite, where we hiked Half Dome together. We are also huge Disney fans, visiting either Disney World or Disneyland about once a year; we can’t wait to take Aiden along! We enjoy visiting our family by the beach in California, as well as driving up to the mountains. Aiden is already a pro at flying, and we hope to continue fostering a love for travel and adventure in our growing family as we explore many new and wonderful places together!

    • We have many family traditions throughout the year where we can spend time making memories we will cherish for a lifetime. We can’t wait to continue to share our established traditions as well as start new traditions as our family grows!


    Aiden had three 1st birthday celebrations - one in Kentucky, one in California, and one at home in Texas! We have an Easter Egg Hunt every year with Melody's family where even the adults get to hunt eggs filled with candy!


    We have hosted Thanksgiving for our family for the last 10 out of 11 years! Melody makes a full Thanksgiving dinner & Brandon is always in charge of glazing the ham and making home-made cranberry sauce! We go shopping on Black Friday and like to stop at In-N-Out Burger to fuel up!


    Christmas is our FAVORITE holiday! We typically travel to California to stay with Brandon's family for a few weeks every year to celebrate! Brandon's mom makes a huge pot of chili which we eat on Christmas Eve. The next day we wake up to open presents together! The trip is filled with games, light displays, video games, comfy PJs, Christmas movies, presents, and SO MANY COOKIES!

    We love spending time with our friends and family whenever we can! Our friends are incredibly special to us, and we consider them an extension of our family. Two of our closest couple friendships began back when we were all single and involved in church ministry in California. Although we all live in different states now, we make it a priority to visit them and can’t wait for Aiden to meet them!

    Aiden’s cousin club is quickly growing and now includes six boys and 5 girls; it is chaotic and wonderful when they all get to spend time together. We’re also part of a local church and a home Bible study group, where we continue to build close, deeply rooted friendships. We prioritize activities like park days, zoo trips, shared meals, and playdates with our loved ones.

While we cannot imagine the feelings you have or will experience in your decision to create an adoption plan for your child, we hope you feel loved and supported, and we personally want you to know how brave and selfless we think you are. We are Andy and Mandy, and we currently share our home and lives with 2 very different yet equally fun and snuggly doggos, Sophie and Maxx. Andy and I have been married for 8 years and together for just over 20 years. Our early years in our relationship were spent having fun, growing as individuals and as a couple, and then establishing our careers. We knew early into our marriage we wanted a family. We tried for years to grow our family on our own, but through many different tests and treatments, we realized that may not be something we are able to do. Throughout our relationship, we had always been open to adoption; many friends and family have shared their journey with adoption and fostering, so our hearts were always open to this, and we have seen that biology doesn’t define the love and care provided to a child. Because of our family's experience in adoption and fostering, we know the importance of your child understanding their birth story, where they came from, and how truly special they and their birth family are to us. If you decide to make an adoption plan with us, we want you to know how loved not only your child will be, but also how cared for and supported you will be.     Hello & Thank You , We’re Bob and Leslie, and we are so thankful you’re taking the time to read about us and consider our family for your adoption plan. We can’t understand everything you are feeling right now, but we know that you are trying to find the right path forward for yourself and your child. We hope we can be a part of that. If you choose us to raise your child, it will be the greatest blessing of our lives. We’ve been married for sixteen years, and we’ve always wanted to grow our family. After a few unsuccessful years trying to conceive naturally, we went to a fertility clinic. We took a lot of supplements and tried multiple rounds of IUI and IVF, but they were also unsuccessful. Conceiving was not in God’s plan for us; that was difficult and sometimes hard to accept. But we both still knew that we wanted to be parents, so we began learning about adoption and speaking to friends who have adopted children, which is how we found Adoption Angels. We have also been fortunate to have friends who were adopted themselves and who have given us insight into adoption. We want to be parents because we know growing up can be so difficult. We want to be there for your child when they need support, encouragement, help, and advice. Or when they just need to know that someone cares about them, loves them, and will always be there. We want to help them discover things they love and see their own talents. We want to nurture their interests so they can pursue things they are interested in and enjoy, to help them lead a happy and fulfilling life. We will do everything we can to ensure your child grows up in a safe and supportive home, surrounded by our community of friends and family. We strongly believe in setting a good example for how to be ethical and honest, providing a good education, and the chance to travel and see the world. Finally, it is important to us that your child always knows the story of their adoption, to know where they came from and who you are as well. That’s why (if you agree as well) we believe in regularly sharing photos, emails, update letters, and annual in-person visits. We promise that if you decide we are the right choice for you and your child, they will always know that the way they came into our family was through an incredible act of sacrifice and love by you.     Hello & Thank You , First off, let's introduce ourselves. Our names are Amy, Hao, and our not so little man James Paul. We want you to know how grateful we are to you for looking at our book. Our goal is for you to get to know who we are in an honest and real way. Adoption has a complex variety of feelings for all parties involved, especially for you. We can't begin to understand the emotional and overwhelming circumstances you have had to face in making these difficult decisions. We want you to know we support you and think that what you are doing is selfless and generous beyond comprehension. From an early age, I knew carrying a child to full term would be highly unlikely. So, when we met, having children was a part of our early conversations. We always wanted a family and knew adoption was going to be how we would become parents. This led us to adopt our beautiful and sweet son, James. We have so much more love to share with another child, and James is waiting with open arms and a welcoming smile. Our upbringing has significantly shaped who we are today, including our parenting style and how we plan for our future. Both of our parents are still married, and observing their relationship through both happy and challenging times has taught us the importance of commitment in maintaining a long-lasting marriage. Our family includes no shortage of caring aunts, fun uncles, and many young cousins to grow up with. One thing you can be certain of is DOTING GRANDPARENTS!! We are blessed that we can go to anyone in our family for guidance, advice, and support. You could not ask for a more dedicated crew of family members. We are Gracie and Ronnie - a young, active, and goofy family of two. We moved to Texas shortly after getting married and have been trying to grow our family by two little feet ever since. After undergoing years of tests, procedures, and treatments, we believe that adoption is the path that the Lord has chosen for us. Although we initially thought we would have biological children before pursuing adoption later in life, after much prayer and surrender, we have come to realize that adoption is a joyous and fulfilling way for us to grow our family. Our home is a place of warmth, love, and laughter, filled with travel adventures, cozy cuddles, and delicious baking. We eagerly pray to welcome a child into this nurturing environment. Both of us have flexible work schedules, and Gracie is excited to be a stay-at-home mom when our family grows. We are blessed to have close relationships with our family and friends, many friends we even consider to be family. Several of our friends have young children or are in the process of starting their own families, and we can’t wait for our children to have built-in best buds! We have been lucky to find everyone in our lives overjoyed for us on this journey of growing our family through adoption.     Hello & Thank You , First and foremost, we are so grateful for your consideration. While we cannot imagine all that you are going through, we support you. While we may never fully know the sacrifice you are making, we are grateful. We have longed to build our family for many years, and it is truly humbling to have you get to know us. We always knew that adoption would be a part of our family, and it has proven to be the biggest blessing in our lives. After we were married, we discovered that we had unknown fertility issues, and that was our sign from the Lord to choose to grow our family through adoption. We adopted our daughter Caroline at birth almost three years ago, and she has brought so much love and joy into our home and family. Now, we have hopes to bring home another sweet blessing, and we know that Caroline will be the best big sister! Our home is full of laughter and fun, and we truly love to spend time with each other. We strive to keep the Lord at the center of it all, and we have a lot of love to share. Our families have been so supportive, and they also cannot wait to add another baby.     Hello & Thank You , We are Adam and Jaime, and we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We have been married for 11 years and together for 13 years. Adam and I knew early on in our relationship that we always wanted to be parents and start a family. Our journey to parenthood has been a challenge for us. Over the last ten years, we have had four failed IUI treatments, five failed IVF treatments, and two miscarriages. Through all our failed attempts to start a family, we continued to support each other and remain resilient in our desire to become parents.     Hello & Thank You , Just saying thank you isn't enough for us to express our gratitude for considering us to be adoptive parents. We cannot begin to understand how difficult this decision is and that it is not taken lightly. No matter your decision, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are Amanda and Spencer. We have been together over ten years and have been married for three. From the very beginning of our relationship, we talked about starting a family, but God had different plans for us. Unfortunately, Amanda has faced health challenges that have led to infertility, which won't allow us to have our own biological children. Adoption has touched both our lives in meaningful ways. Spencer's mother was adopted, and she is ecstatic that we are pursuing this path. In addition, Spencer has two adopted cousins, and I have one as well. Both of our families are loving and supportive of our decision, and we are all ready to share unconditional love with a child. Since we both have relatives who were adopted, we believe it is important for your child to understand their adoption story from the very beginning. We can't imagine how hard this choice must be, and we have SO much respect for you. Your courage is truly admirable. We hope our story will be helpful as you make your choice. Please know that no matter what you decide, we wish you and your child nothing but the best, and you will both be in our prayers. We would love to share a little about ourselves, and hopefully, this book will give you a clear picture of who we are! We have grown so much during our years of marriage! Our journey has included buying a house, starting new jobs, surviving a pandemic, experiencing years of infertility and loss, going on many trips, and so much more. Throughout the highs and lows, our relationship has only become stronger. We feel very blessed to have wonderful parents and grandparents who model healthy relationships. They have taught us invaluable lessons and instilled strong morals in us. From the beginning, we have known that we wanted children and planned to have them at a young age. However, we faced three years of infertility and treatments, which ultimately resulted in loss. Going through it all taught us many important lessons and brought us even closer to each other and to God. We have always wanted to adopt, and we feel that now is the right time to do it! For us, raising a child means reading books together before bed, quality family time, lots of outdoor adventures, supporting whatever dreams he/she may have, and a home full of laughter. We value communication, kindness, and passion. Our goal is to create a loving environment that inspires creativity and curiosity, embraces differences, and opens opportunities for learning and growth. Our home is filled with warmth, love, laughter, and support. Adoption means a lot to us!
