There's no way for us to begin understanding your life, struggles, and victories. Hopefully, we can play a part in one another's stories- sharing and growing through all the ups and downs that this world has to offer. Know that if chosen, we will love your child unconditionally and fiercely protect and shelter them all the day of our lives.


This whole process feels a little surreal, and finding the perfect words to say them is a challenge. Thank you, though, for even looking at this book and taking a peek into our lives. We want to reassure you that we have the utmost respect and admiration for you, regardless of the path you choose. We are confident that whomever you choose to raise your baby will be the perfect fit! Regardless of where each of our lives goes, we want you to know you are continuously in our hearts and minds. 


After struggling with infertility and going through several fertility treatments, we made the decision not to pursue IVF. We felt like God was pulling on our hearts to bring someone into our lives in a different way. After much prayer and conversation, we decided adoption was the clear path, and we're excited to grow our family this way. 


Following the completion of our home study and application with Adoption Angels, we were in disbelief one morning when Alexandra took a pregnancy test, and it was positive. However, during our daily evening walk that day, we both knew that we wholeheartedly wanted to continue to pursue adoption. Alexandra comes from a large family where many of her brothers and sisters are close in age, her brother Russ being a mere 18 months apart from her. Growing up so close in age, we were less siblings and more partners and crime- each other’s best confidants and adventure buddies as we traveled the world with the military. The loyalty, utter love, and connection we feel toward each other are hard to explain, and to this day, my siblings and my brother's wife are my best friends. 


We would be over the moon excited to raise children who would experience this bond and feel the same love and closeness. It’s becoming clearer to us every day that this is the path God has been leading us on all along. Know that no matter how a child comes into our family, we plan to love them exactly as we love our son, Adrian- with every fiber of our being!

Meet Aaron

Meet Dan

Dan is the most amazing person on the planet. He is everything that I ever wanted in a husband, and our son, Garrett, is so lucky to have him as a father. He is kind, patient, and hard-working. He loves to spend his free time playing with Garrett and teaching him new things. I am 

so proud of the parent he is; Dan was meant to be a father. 

Meet Aaron

Her approach to motherhood is fierce protection, heart-melting compassion, and genuine care for being the mother she was created to be. She is highly reflective and constantly researches how to improve how we raise our son. Every day, Alex seeks to experience the world through the pure eyes and mind of a child. She is nothing short of a super-mom, and I am blessed to call her my wife. She inspires me to be the best dad I can be for our family.

    • Our Story

    Our love story began in college when a mutual friend set us up! It was a surprise when we immediately hit it off and didn't stop talking until they closed the dining hall and we were forced to leave! We hung out almost every day after that, and it didn't take long to know we were falling in love.

     

    We were engaged on Christmas Day, surrounded by all our friends and family on Aaron's side. Being the romantic that he was, Aaron proposed in the exact way on the exact day Alexandra's father did with her mother in front of the family Christmas tree. It was a beautiful moment filled with lots of tears. It was actually a little hard to hear the proposal over Aaron's mom's excited screams!


    Our wedding day still feels like a dream to us, a rush of emotions with more laughter, tears, and hope than we've ever felt before. We were married in Franklin, Tennessee, in the church where Alexandra was baptized as a baby by the same priest who baptized her! We had a huge bridal party with all of our family and friends from college in attendance, donned in purple gowns and military uniforms. Though we had hoped for a small wedding, it was really important to our parents to bring all of our family together to celebrate. We have been married now for six beautiful years!

    Our son Adrian is an incredibly special boy! He is rambunctious, curious, adventurous, and sweet. He’s always on the move and isn’t afraid to tell us exactly what he wants, but he’s also incredibly affectionate. He loves to give big hugs and kisses to all his family and friends. He eats raw tomatoes like they’re candy and will never say no to fruit. He also loves to dance and insists we turn on music for most of the day. He even lets us know if a new song isn’t being played fast enough after one has just ended! His favorites include all the Disney movies, la Gallina Pintura, and The Backyardigans. He was also born on Valentine’s Day, so we call him our little cupid!

    Even though he’s young, I can already envision Adrian as an amazing older brother, a protector, and a guide—someone who will always take his siblings along for the fun. He plays so well with other kids, never ceasing to share his food and snacks with us and always looking for a partner to participate in the fun he’s having.

    Our Home

    We live in a beautiful three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath townhome in southern California. We have a fenced in back yard with lots of space to run and play. We love filling our home with mementos from our experiences, but it's the presence of friends and family who stay with us for a few hours or a few months and the memories we create that truly make where we live special.

    • Aaron's Family

    I am one of three children to very loving parents. My mother is caring and generous, and my father is hardworking and loving. Adrian is their fifth grandchild, and they utterly adore him. We recently spent a long weekend with both of them, where we visited a children’s museum and went to the park every day! 


    My older brother, Steven, is a military veteran married to a lovely woman named Michel. Michel was adopted as a baby from South America. She was also my brother’s childhood sweetheart, so I’ve known her my entire life. Because of this, I was introduced to the idea of adoption as a very young child and knew it was something special. Together, they have four children. Adrian loves talking with his cousins over Facetime, and we try to allow them to do so at least once a week!! Last but not least is my sister, Blessing. She is fun, charismatic, and a wonderful aunt. 


    I have very positive and loving relationships with each member of my family. Unfortunately, due simply to distance across the country, we don’t get to see them as much as we would like, but we speak on the phone and text often and constantly pray for one another.

    I am the oldest of six, so I have a very large family. My parents have been married for 30 years and currently live in Hawaii. My siblings Russ and Catherine live with their spouses, and my three youngest siblings still attend grade school while living with my parents.

    We are very close with my family and see them multiple times a year, communicating with them daily. Our bond with each of my family members is one of the most treasured aspects of my life. We are close and loyal. We’re not afraid to be honest with one another and we love each other fiercely.


    Every single member of my family is obsessed with Adrian, from my goofy teenage sisters to my quiet and serious brother. They are over the moon that we are adding to our family. They are patiently and excitedly awaiting the arrival of a new little one, especially my sister Catherine (who is also my best friend and has watched us go through this journey) and my youngest brother (he’s 12), who never stops talking about how he’s going to protect, love, and maybe one day babysit Adrian and his younger sibling. He loves being an uncle and tells me multiple times a day!

    We love being a part of the Military community. Though we live out of town, there are military families all around us, many of whom we call friends. Living in a military community, the diversity is abundant. We are surrounded by families of all backgrounds, colors, and creeds. The beauty of southern California is all around us, and we never run out of good friends or fun things to do!

    • Our favorite activities as a family include hiking, working out, and finding new places to explore. We are members at an incredibly family-oriented gym. Adrian cheers us on in his stroller but often finds his way into one of our coach’s arms. He has also joined us in running a marathon and was such a trooper the whole time (we made sure we had lots of snacks!)


    Living in beautiful California, there are so many fun family activities to do! The zoo is one of the largest in the country, and it’s definitely our favorite place to learn about wildlife and animals. Adrian and Aaron love the Lion exhibit the most!

    • Adventure Awaits

    We love to travel and plan to visit the entire West Coast over the next few years, including the Grand Canyon and most of the National Parks. Since Adrian was born, he has lived in Hawaii and has traveled to the neighboring Hawaiian Islands, Tennessee, South Carolina, and Texas. This Christmas, we’ll be headed to London, England! 


    Our plans, hopes, and dreams for our family are filled with a life of adventure, wonder, and learning. We're so grateful for the military in our opportunities to travel and we plan to see the world and all of its beauty for as long as we can.

    • Holiday Traditions

    Holidays are always a time to celebrate in our house! At Christmas, we have many traditions: completing a puzzle, attending liturgy, drinking Glüwien (hot German wine), and reading the Nativity story before presents. Opening gifts is a big event, one at a time from youngest to oldest—this year, Adrian went first and took his time, so we helped him out! When someone gets clothes, we chant, "Put it on, put it on!" until they're wearing it. Since Aaron and my sister Sophia were both born on Christmas, we throw a joint birthday party in the afternoon. Adrian loved helping blow out the candles this year!


    Halloween is another favorite. Now, with Adrian, we do group costumes. I was Cruella deVille, and Aaron and Adrian were Dalmatians. We dress up, have a small party, and pass out candy. After the kids sleep, we watch a classic scary movie. The past three years, we've also gone through a kid-friendly haunted house on base, with Mimi (Alex's mom) staying behind with Adrian.

    Adrian was born on Valentine’s Day, so we throw him a big themed birthday party. This year, he was Baby Cupid, surrounded by family and friends. After cake and presents, we walked to the park and watched the sunset. We’re already planning his second birthday party, and my sisters and I think it’ll be monster-themed, with Adrian dressed as the Cookie Monster!

While we cannot imagine the feelings you have or will experience in your decision to create an adoption plan for your child, we hope you feel loved and supported, and we personally want you to know how brave and selfless we think you are. We are Andy and Mandy, and we currently share our home and lives with 2 very different yet equally fun and snuggly doggos, Sophie and Maxx. Andy and I have been married for 8 years and together for just over 20 years. Our early years in our relationship were spent having fun, growing as individuals and as a couple, and then establishing our careers. We knew early into our marriage we wanted a family. We tried for years to grow our family on our own, but through many different tests and treatments, we realized that may not be something we are able to do. Throughout our relationship, we had always been open to adoption; many friends and family have shared their journey with adoption and fostering, so our hearts were always open to this, and we have seen that biology doesn’t define the love and care provided to a child. Because of our family's experience in adoption and fostering, we know the importance of your child understanding their birth story, where they came from, and how truly special they and their birth family are to us. If you decide to make an adoption plan with us, we want you to know how loved not only your child will be, but also how cared for and supported you will be.     Bob & Leslie - New Mexico

    Hello & Thank You , We’re Bob and Leslie, and we are so thankful you’re taking the time to read about us and consider our family for your adoption plan. We can’t understand everything you are feeling right now, but we know that you are trying to find the right path forward for yourself and your child. We hope we can be a part of that. If you choose us to raise your child, it will be the greatest blessing of our lives. We’ve been married for sixteen years, and we’ve always wanted to grow our family. After a few unsuccessful years trying to conceive naturally, we went to a fertility clinic. We took a lot of supplements and tried multiple rounds of IUI and IVF, but they were also unsuccessful. Conceiving was not in God’s plan for us; that was difficult and sometimes hard to accept. But we both still knew that we wanted to be parents, so we began learning about adoption and speaking to friends who have adopted children, which is how we found Adoption Angels. We have also been fortunate to have friends who were adopted themselves and who have given us insight into adoption. We want to be parents because we know growing up can be so difficult. We want to be there for your child when they need support, encouragement, help, and advice. Or when they just need to know that someone cares about them, loves them, and will always be there. We want to help them discover things they love and see their own talents. We want to nurture their interests so they can pursue things they are interested in and enjoy, to help them lead a happy and fulfilling life. We will do everything we can to ensure your child grows up in a safe and supportive home, surrounded by our community of friends and family. We strongly believe in setting a good example for how to be ethical and honest, providing a good education, and the chance to travel and see the world. Finally, it is important to us that your child always knows the story of their adoption, to know where they came from and who you are as well. That’s why (if you agree as well) we believe in regularly sharing photos, emails, update letters, and annual in-person visits. We promise that if you decide we are the right choice for you and your child, they will always know that the way they came into our family was through an incredible act of sacrifice and love by you.     Hello & Thank You , First off, let's introduce ourselves. Our names are Amy, Hao, and our not so little man James Paul. We want you to know how grateful we are to you for looking at our book. Our goal is for you to get to know who we are in an honest and real way. Adoption has a complex variety of feelings for all parties involved, especially for you. We can't begin to understand the emotional and overwhelming circumstances you have had to face in making these difficult decisions. We want you to know we support you and think that what you are doing is selfless and generous beyond comprehension. From an early age, I knew carrying a child to full term would be highly unlikely. So, when we met, having children was a part of our early conversations. We always wanted a family and knew adoption was going to be how we would become parents. This led us to adopt our beautiful and sweet son, James. We have so much more love to share with another child, and James is waiting with open arms and a welcoming smile. Our upbringing has significantly shaped who we are today, including our parenting style and how we plan for our future. Both of our parents are still married, and observing their relationship through both happy and challenging times has taught us the importance of commitment in maintaining a long-lasting marriage. Our family includes no shortage of caring aunts, fun uncles, and many young cousins to grow up with. One thing you can be certain of is DOTING GRANDPARENTS!! We are blessed that we can go to anyone in our family for guidance, advice, and support. You could not ask for a more dedicated crew of family members.     Hello & Thank You , Thank you so much for taking the time to learn more about us as you embark on this journey. Though we could never imagine what you're going through, the courageous, compassionate, and generous spirit you display is inspiring. We are Gracie and Ronnie - a young, active, and goofy family of two. We moved to Texas shortly after getting married and have been trying to grow our family by two little feet ever since. After undergoing years of tests, procedures, and treatments, we believe that adoption is the path that the Lord has chosen for us. Although we initially thought we would have biological children before pursuing adoption later in life, after much prayer and surrender, we have come to realize that adoption is a joyous and fulfilling way for us to grow our family. Our home is a place of warmth, love, and laughter, filled with travel adventures, cozy cuddles, and delicious baking. We eagerly pray to welcome a child into this nurturing environment. Both of us have flexible work schedules, and Gracie is excited to be a stay-at-home mom when our family grows. We are blessed to have close relationships with our family and friends, many friends we even consider to be family. Several of our friends have young children or are in the process of starting their own families, and we can’t wait for our children to have built-in best buds! We have been lucky to find everyone in our lives overjoyed for us on this journey of growing our family through adoption.     Hello & Thank You , First and foremost, we are so grateful for your consideration. While we cannot imagine all that you are going through, we support you. While we may never fully know the sacrifice you are making, we are grateful. We have longed to build our family for many years, and it is truly humbling to have you get to know us. We always knew that adoption would be a part of our family, and it has proven to be the biggest blessing in our lives. After we were married, we discovered that we had unknown fertility issues, and that was our sign from the Lord to choose to grow our family through adoption. We adopted our daughter Caroline at birth almost three years ago, and she has brought so much love and joy into our home and family. Now, we have hopes to bring home another sweet blessing, and we know that Caroline will be the best big sister! Our home is full of laughter and fun, and we truly love to spend time with each other. We strive to keep the Lord at the center of it all, and we have a lot of love to share. Our families have been so supportive, and they also cannot wait to add another baby. We do not take this decision lightly and consider raising a child the greatest privilege. We admire your courage and see your strength.     Hello & Thank You , We are Adam and Jaime, and we wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for considering us as adoptive parents for your child. We can only imagine how incredibly difficult this decision is, and we admire your courage and strength during this challenging time. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us. We have been married for 11 years and together for 13 years. Adam and I knew early on in our relationship that we always wanted to be parents and start a family. Our journey to parenthood has been a challenge for us. Over the last ten years, we have had four failed IUI treatments, five failed IVF treatments, and two miscarriages. Through all our failed attempts to start a family, we continued to support each other and remain resilient in our desire to become parents.     Hello & Thank You , Just saying thank you isn't enough for us to express our gratitude for considering us to be adoptive parents. We cannot begin to understand how difficult this decision is and that it is not taken lightly. No matter your decision, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are Amanda and Spencer. We have been together over ten years and have been married for three. From the very beginning of our relationship, we talked about starting a family, but God had different plans for us. Unfortunately, Amanda has faced health challenges that have led to infertility, which won't allow us to have our own biological children. Adoption has touched both our lives in meaningful ways. Spencer's mother was adopted, and she is ecstatic that we are pursuing this path. In addition, Spencer has two adopted cousins, and I have one as well. Both of our families are loving and supportive of our decision, and we are all ready to share unconditional love with a child. Since we both have relatives who were adopted, we believe it is important for your child to understand their adoption story from the very beginning. We look forward to sharing with your child just how special they and their birth family are to us. We can't imagine how hard this choice must be, and we have SO much respect for you. Your courage is truly admirable. We hope our story will be helpful as you make your choice. Please know that no matter what you decide, we wish you and your child nothing but the best, and you will both be in our prayers. We would love to share a little about ourselves, and hopefully, this book will give you a clear picture of who we are! We have grown so much during our years of marriage! Our journey has included buying a house, starting new jobs, surviving a pandemic, experiencing years of infertility and loss, going on many trips, and so much more. Throughout the highs and lows, our relationship has only become stronger. We feel very blessed to have wonderful parents and grandparents who model healthy relationships. They have taught us invaluable lessons and instilled strong morals in us. From the beginning, we have known that we wanted children and planned to have them at a young age. However, we faced three years of infertility and treatments, which ultimately resulted in loss. Going through it all taught us many important lessons and brought us even closer to each other and to God. We have always wanted to adopt, and we feel that now is the right time to do it! For us, raising a child means reading books together before bed, quality family time, lots of outdoor adventures, supporting whatever dreams he/she may have, and a home full of laughter. We value communication, kindness, and passion. Our goal is to create a loving environment that inspires creativity and curiosity, embraces differences, and opens opportunities for learning and growth. Our home is filled with warmth, love, laughter, and support. Adoption means a lot to us! It represents strong people who love a child so much that they come together to build a wonderful relationship, ensuring the best care for that child.
