Lore Carvalho
Hello, I’m Lore Carvalho and proudly serve as the Director of Adoption Angels. With 30 years of adoption experience, my career is driven by a passion for assisting birth mothers and enriching the lives of our adoptive parents. I founded Adoption Angels in 2002 with the goal of bringing as many families together through adoption as possible. I have gathered a dedicated and gifted staff that shares my belief that by helping others, we may reach our steadfast goal of providing the best support, guidance and preparation to all our clients.
I have a loving family including my supportive husband and two talented daughters one of whom works alongside me here at Adoption Angels. I am involved in every aspect of the adoption process and cherish the opportunity to satisfy any of our client-families needs.

Colleen Washington
Director of Social Services
Hi, I’m Colleen Washington and I am the Director of Social Services. I have been a social worker since 2003 and have been a part of the Adoption Angels’ family since 2005. I enjoy the opportunity to work closely with our adoptive parents and guide them through the adoption process. I have seen what a phenomenal impact adoption can have on both adoptive parents and birth parents.
I know how special it is to be a mother,
as I am one of three beautiful children. My family was blessed through adoption and I am honored to help you through this journey!
Miriam Marin
Expectant & Birth Parent Counselor
Hi, my name is Miriam Marin and I am the expectant and birth parent counselor here at Adoption Angels. I have a Bachelor's in Sociology with a Minor in Women and Gender Studies and a Master's in Counseling. I have 10 years of experience working with families and children, 7 of which have been with Adoption Angels.
I am here to support and counsel expectant and birth parents through all aspects of their adoption journey. I am so blessed to work at Adoption Angels because I am surrounded by the most devoted and caring parents.
Brittany Carvalho
Director of Operations & Marketing
Hi, I’m Brittany Carvalho and I am the Director of Operations & Marketing here at Adoption Angels. I am dedicated to optimizing the efficiency of our operations, marketing and advertising as well as our website and social media. I also provide the guidance and approval for the adoptive parent profile books.
I believe family is the greatest blessing. so being a part of the Adoption Angels family and having the opportunity to work alongside my mother has been an indescribable experience for which I am very grateful for.
