First and foremost, we are so grateful for your consideration. While we cannot imagine all that you are going through, we support you. While we may never fully know the sacrifice you are making, we are grateful. We have longed to build our family for many years, and it is truly humbling to have you get to know us. 


We always knew that adoption would be a part of our family, and it has proven to be the biggest blessing in our lives. After we were married, we discovered that we had unknown fertility issues, and that was our sign from the Lord to choose to grow our family through adoption. We adopted our daughter Caroline at birth almost three years ago, and she has brought so much love and joy into our home and family. Now, we have hopes to bring home another sweet blessing, and we know that Caroline will be the best big sister! 


Our home is full of laughter and fun, and we truly love to spend time with each other. We strive to keep the Lord at the center of it all, and we have a lot of love to share. Our families have been so supportive, and they also cannot wait to add another baby.


We do not take this decision lightly and consider raising a child the greatest privilege. We admire your courage and see your strength. If we are chosen to parent your child, we ask for grace, and we thank you for the bravery you display. As much as your child may become a part of us, they will always remain a part of you. We want them to know that. Whatever decision you make, may you know that you are loved and that you and your baby's lives are precious. We've prayed that your heart, mind, body, and baby would be safe and loved and that you would be covered in peace during it all.

Meet Dan

Dan is the most amazing person on the planet. He is everything that I ever wanted in a husband, and our son, Garrett, is so lucky to have him as a father. He is kind, patient, and hard-working. He loves to spend his free time playing with Garrett and teaching him new things. I am 

so proud of the parent he is; Dan was meant to be a father. 

Meet Matthew

Matthew & Lindsay - Getting to Know Us

Our Story

We met on eHarmony in 2014 and went on our first date a week later! We met for sushi and took a walk on the beach. Since we lived an hour apart, we dated long-distance for the first six months. After that, Matthew took a new job and moved to my town to be closer. Ten months later, he proposed!


My friends set up a girls' night to get our nails done and have dinner at Olive Garden while Matthew supposedly had to work late. I wasn't too skeptical because it was a rainy Monday evening. However, upon arriving home, I opened the front door to a dark living room filled with candles and pictures of the two of us. There was also a rose pathway leading to Matthew. I was completely surprised! Matthew talked for a bit, then got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! Of course, I said, "Yes." We planned our wedding for later that fall, just five months later.


Though we both grew up in Florida, we had not ever seen ourselves getting married there because we wanted a beautiful wedding that wasn't too hot. We chose to have a destination wedding in one of our favorite places--Nashville, Tennessee. It was a gorgeous day surrounded by our family and friends, and though it ended up being a cold November day, it was one of the best days of our lives together. We had a hot chocolate and cider bar, a delicious dinner from our favorite restaurant, dancing with a live band, a s'mores bar, and a photo booth. It was so much fun!

    • Meet Caroline

    Caroline is our sweet and precious daughter. She is so smart, so funny, and curious about everything. She loves to help and is learning to be independent in many ways. She has the best hair and is so beautiful. She is kind to all and loves babies. Caroline loves going to school, reading books, listening to music, and helping Momma cook. She especially loves it when we get to spend time with her cousins and extended family. She is going to be the very best big sister and has a lot of hugs and kisses ready!

    We love our home so much because it is cozy, welcoming, clean, and organized. From the moment we saw it, we knew it was where we wanted to raise a family. It was renovated when we purchased it in 2017, and it was an answer to our prayers. We are in a quiet, older neighborhood with original trees and a golf course. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 ½ baths. Matthew has remodeled each room by painting, replacing the trim, and renovating the ceilings.

    • Our Community

    Our home is in a great location, just minutes from our church, school, friends, and favorite restaurants. Our community is more diverse than most of our city and boasts one of the best school districts in the nation. While we do not have a pool, we use the local Y and rec center splash pad. Our city has many parks with playgrounds and hiking trails. We love to go to our adorable downtown for shopping, eating, and walking through local farmer's markets and coffee shops.

    • Matthew's Family

    Matthew's parents and oldest brother, Aaron, live in Florida and travel to visit us a few times a year to enjoy the cooler weather. His dad is an elementary music teacher, and both of his parents have backgrounds in music. Matthew's older brother, James, and his wife are doctors in North Carolina, and they have a one-year-old son, Vir. We usually spend a week all together in the summer for a family reunion of sort. This year, we went to Orlando and celebrated Matthew's parents' 50th anniversary!

    • Lindsay's Family

    Lindsay's family keeps on growing! Her parents are such fun and involved grandparents. Her mom, who lives nearby, loves to come over for dinner, meet at the park, and bring treats for Caroline. Her dad visits from Florida every few months, and we enjoy visiting him as well. Lindsay is blessed with four brothers and a sister, all of whom have grown their families through marriage and children. Despite living all over, we love to get together as often as possible. Cousins Waylon, Wakely, and Stevie often visit from Alabama, while we see cousins Wyatt and Emmy Kate in Missouri several times a year. Cousin Bennett, the youngest, lives in Florida, and other aunts and uncles are in Montana and Mississippi. It's always a joy to be together, and we cherish the moments the cousins spend with each other. This year, we even had our first cousin camp!

    Meet Dempsey

    Dempsey is our 14-year-old Yorkie Schnauzer, which we adore! He has the energy of a puppy and the gentleness of a mature dog. He is playful and fun! He's so patient with Caroline, and they love to play together. We are so glad they have each other!

    • We love celebrating and having fun together, whether on birthdays, dressing up for Halloween, Christmas, or anything special. We always decorate the house for each major holiday to feel festive. For Christmas, we love to pick out a real tree each year after our anniversary dinner, and then Matthew decorates the tree while I decorate the house. We have hosted our family here, and sometimes we travel to family for holidays. Birthdays are also a lot of fun for us and involve decorating the house and having a party with friends and family. We also host an annual Pumpkin Palooza party where we carve pumpkins, have fall treats, and sit around the bonfire.

    Travel Fun 

    Another thing we like to do is travel and explore new places, near and far. We have flown all around, but we also enjoy a good road trip together when we can stop and see things along the way.

    One thing that's very important to us is staying connected with our children's birth families. We met Caroline's first mama at her birth when we flew to Arizona, and we text back and forth pictures and messages almost weekly. We work very hard to be able to go back and visit her when we can. We have seen her family twice since she was born, and it is always such a joy to spend time with her siblings and sweet family. We want our children to grow up knowing who they are and just how immensely loved they are, not just by us but also by their first family. We are all a family.

While we cannot imagine the feelings you have or will experience in your decision to create an adoption plan for your child, we hope you feel loved and supported, and we personally want you to know how brave and selfless we think you are. We are Andy and Mandy, and we currently share our home and lives with 2 very different yet equally fun and snuggly doggos, Sophie and Maxx. Andy and I have been married for 8 years and together for just over 20 years. Our early years in our relationship were spent having fun, growing as individuals and as a couple, and then establishing our careers. We knew early into our marriage we wanted a family. We tried for years to grow our family on our own, but through many different tests and treatments, we realized that may not be something we are able to do. Throughout our relationship, we had always been open to adoption; many friends and family have shared their journey with adoption and fostering, so our hearts were always open to this, and we have seen that biology doesn’t define the love and care provided to a child. Because of our family's experience in adoption and fostering, we know the importance of your child understanding their birth story, where they came from, and how truly special they and their birth family are to us.     Hello & Thank You , We’re Bob and Leslie, and we are so thankful you’re taking the time to read about us and consider our family for your adoption plan. We can’t understand everything you are feeling right now, but we know that you are trying to find the right path forward for yourself and your child. We hope we can be a part of that. If you choose us to raise your child, it will be the greatest blessing of our lives. We’ve been married for sixteen years, and we’ve always wanted to grow our family. After a few unsuccessful years trying to conceive naturally, we went to a fertility clinic. We took a lot of supplements and tried multiple rounds of IUI and IVF, but they were also unsuccessful. Conceiving was not in God’s plan for us; that was difficult and sometimes hard to accept. But we both still knew that we wanted to be parents, so we began learning about adoption and speaking to friends who have adopted children, which is how we found Adoption Angels. We have also been fortunate to have friends who were adopted themselves and who have given us insight into adoption. We want to be parents because we know growing up can be so difficult. We want to be there for your child when they need support, encouragement, help, and advice. Or when they just need to know that someone cares about them, loves them, and will always be there. We want to help them discover things they love and see their own talents. We want to nurture their interests so they can pursue things they are interested in and enjoy, to help them lead a happy and fulfilling life. We will do everything we can to ensure your child grows up in a safe and supportive home, surrounded by our community of friends and family. We strongly believe in setting a good example for how to be ethical and honest, providing a good education, and the chance to travel and see the world. Finally, it is important to us that your child always knows the story of their adoption, to know where they came from and who you are as well. That’s why (if you agree as well) we believe in regularly sharing photos, emails, update letters, and annual in-person visits. Our goal is for you to get to know who we are in an honest and real way. Adoption has a complex variety of feelings for all parties involved, especially for you. We can't begin to understand the emotional and overwhelming circumstances you have had to face in making these difficult decisions. We want you to know we support you and think that what you are doing is selfless and generous beyond comprehension. From an early age, I knew carrying a child to full term would be highly unlikely. So, when we met, having children was a part of our early conversations. We always wanted a family and knew adoption was going to be how we would become parents. This led us to adopt our beautiful and sweet son, James. We have so much more love to share with another child, and James is waiting with open arms and a welcoming smile. Our upbringing has significantly shaped who we are today, including our parenting style and how we plan for our future. Both of our parents are still married, and observing their relationship through both happy and challenging times has taught us the importance of commitment in maintaining a long-lasting marriage. Our family includes no shortage of caring aunts, fun uncles, and many young cousins to grow up with. One thing you can be certain of is DOTING GRANDPARENTS!! We are blessed that we can go to anyone in our family for guidance, advice, and support. You could not ask for a more dedicated crew of family members.     Hello & Thank You , First, we want to thank you so much for considering us to be the parents of your child and for taking the time to learn a little about our lives! We can't imagine what a difficult time this must be for you, though we don't know what you are feeling. However, we do know that we admire your courage and strength! We are Mike and Tiffany, a fun loving couple from Texas who have been together 10 years and married almost 9! We spent many years trying to conceive a baby on our own, and with no luck, we didn’t want to wait to grow our family any longer. We chose adoption rather than going through IVF and were blessed with our first son in 2022. The experience we have had with his adoption has been so wonderful, and we can’t wait to give him a brother or sister. We have always wanted a big family, as both of ours are relatively small, and we are so grateful for this adoption opportunity because, without it, we wouldn’t be able to have that. Tiffany is a stay-at-home mom currently and will continue to do so. She loves being able to be so involved with raising our children and growing a special bond from the beginning.     Hello & Thank You , Just saying thank you isn't enough for us to express our gratitude for considering us to be adoptive parents. We cannot begin to understand how difficult this decision is and that it is not taken lightly. No matter your decision, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We are Amanda and Spencer. We have been together over ten years and have been married for three. From the very beginning of our relationship, we talked about starting a family, but God had different plans for us. Unfortunately, Amanda has faced health challenges that have led to infertility, which won't allow us to have our own biological children. Adoption has touched both our lives in meaningful ways. Spencer's mother was adopted, and she is ecstatic that we are pursuing this path. In addition, Spencer has two adopted cousins, and I have one as well. Both of our families are loving and supportive of our decision, and we are all ready to share unconditional love with a child. Since we both have relatives who were adopted, we believe it is important for your child to understand their adoption story from the very beginning. We look forward to sharing with your child just how special they and their birth family are to us. The relationship between a child and their birth family is significant, and we strongly support an open adoption. There is no such thing as too many people to love and support a child.     Hello & Thank You , We are Damon and Amanda, and we thank you for taking the time to learn more about our family. We can't imagine how hard this choice must be, and we have SO much respect for you. Your courage is truly admirable. We hope our story will be helpful as you make your choice. Please know that no matter what you decide, we wish you and your child nothing but the best, and you will both be in our prayers. We would love to share a little about ourselves, and hopefully, this book will give you a clear picture of who we are! We have grown so much during our years of marriage! Our journey has included buying a house, starting new jobs, surviving a pandemic, experiencing years of infertility and loss, going on many trips, and so much more. Throughout the highs and lows, our relationship has only become stronger. We feel very blessed to have wonderful parents and grandparents who model healthy relationships. They have taught us invaluable lessons and instilled strong morals in us. From the beginning, we have known that we wanted children and planned to have them at a young age. However, we faced three years of infertility and treatments, which ultimately resulted in loss. Going through it all taught us many important lessons and brought us even closer to each other and to God. We have always wanted to adopt, and we feel that now is the right time to do it! For us, raising a child means reading books together before bed, quality family time, lots of outdoor adventures, supporting whatever dreams he/she may have, and a home full of laughter. We value communication, kindness, and passion. Our goal is to create a loving environment that inspires creativity and curiosity, embraces differences, and opens opportunities for learning and growth. Our home is filled with warmth, love, laughter, and support. Adoption means a lot to us! It represents strong people who love a child so much that they come together to build a wonderful relationship, ensuring the best care for that child. We have inspiring adoption stories within our extended family and friends, and we are grateful for their incredible support as we embark on this journey.     Hello & Thank You , We are beyond grateful for you considering us as prospective parents. Please know that what is best for you and the baby is the most important thing throughout this process. We can only imagine the difficulties that come with this decision, but please know that your child will be loved without qualification. We are so excited to begin our adoption journey and bring a child into our family. We are Will & Lorena, and we have been together for almost 7 years. Our path to adoption starts with Will being adopted himself at birth and from a young age, knowing that this was always going to be a part of his family plan. As we began to discuss having a family, Lorena was concerned about getting pregnant due to her infertility diagnosis, so turning to adoption was an easy call for us to start our family. The values that are most important to our household are love, kindness, and respect. Ensuring that, above all else, people are treated equally will be core to the teachings we share with our child. We want to encourage them to be curious and welcome diversity in all forms and to do so with a smile. Both of us love to laugh, and we want our child’s life to be filled with those unforgettable moments. To us, adoption is a beautiful journey shared by all parties involved.     Hello & Thank You , Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about us. While we cannot say we understand the emotions, decisions, and journey you are facing, we recognize and honor the enormous gift you are sharing with a family like ours. We are Christi and Michael. We have been together for 6 years and married for 4. When we first started dating, I shared with Michael that biological children might not be a possibility for me due to the reproductive issues I had experienced. When Michael stated without hesitation that he was open to adoption, I knew he was someone special. After trying the recommended fertility treatments to ensure we were never left wondering, “What if?” we started our adoption journey feeling relieved and confident this was the path meant for us. Part of what drew us to each other was how we viewed our families and our desires to have a family of our own. Both of our lives have been touched by adoption in various ways. Therefore, we knew we were ready to start our adoption journey. In 2023, we welcomed our daughter, Isabel (Izzy), into our lives through adoption. Izzy has brought so much joy, laughter, love, and fun to our lives ever since. We are so grateful to have been chosen as Izzy’s adoptive parents and are blessed to guide her on this journey of life. We believe it is important for your child to understand their adoption story from the beginning and look forward to letting them know how truly special they and their birth family are to us. We welcome an open adoption as we value the relationship between a child and their birth family. Children can never have too many people who love and support them. We have established a small group of friends who have young, adopted children and enjoy meeting them throughout the year. We believe it will be valuable for our children to have the opportunity to be around other adopted children throughout their lives. There are adoptees in that group, and we talk openly with them about their experience as adoptees to help us gain insight into their perspective. With a large family nearby, your child will be loved and surrounded by many family members, friends, and a faith community. In addition to providing your child with unconditional love, we hope to instill the qualities of honesty, integrity, faith, kindness, the value of family, and perseverance. Both of us come from hard working families where we each learned to be independent, responsible, and self-sufficient, knowing we always had our families supporting us.
