Hello & Thank You,
I appreciate you for taking the time to read this letter. I can’t imagine how difficult this decision must be for you, but I want you to know how much I respect your courage in choosing adoption and doing what you believe is the best path forward for you and your child.
I want to share a little about myself and the journey that has brought me here. I grew up in Tennessee, surrounded by a close-knit family that has always been my foundation. From an early age, I was inspired by adoption through my church family, where many members had adopted or fostered children. Watching those beautiful connections grow left a lasting impression on me, and I’ve known for years that I wanted to pursue adoption in my life.
Now in my late 30s, I feel so blessed to be able to grow my family through adoption. My journey here has been different than I imagined, but I know God has a promise for me and my family. Over the years, I’ve worked to prepare myself emotionally and financially to create a loving, stable home filled with joy, encouragement, and support. Becoming a mom has always been my dream, and I’m so excited about the opportunity to make that dream a reality.
If you choose me as the adoptive parent for your baby, I promise to provide them with unconditional love, guidance, and every opportunity to thrive. They will grow up in a home where they are cherished, valued, and supported. I’ll share with them the traditions and values I hold dear, including kindness, faith, and the importance of family. Most importantly, they will always know how special they are and the love and courage it took for you to make this plan for them.
I also want you to know that I’m open to maintaining communication if that is something you’re comfortable with. I believe it’s important for a child to know their story and the incredible strength of the mother who gave them life.
Thank you again for considering me as you make this decision. Whatever path you choose, I admire your strength and courage, and I wish you peace and clarity during this journey.
With gratitude and respect,
Lyndsey
