We are Mark and Julie. We have been together for over 14 years and have always wanted to grow our family. After four long years of infertility struggles, we decided adoption was the way we were going to create our happy family. Our son Gideon joined our family through adoption in 2021, and we hope he will soon have a sibling to play with. We both have siblings and know the wonderful bond that can grow, especially when they are close in age. 


We are fortunate that Julie can be a stay-at-home mom. She has a wealth of life lessons to pass along to our children, and she incorporates problem-solving into our daily lives. Our families and friends are also excited to welcome your child into our loving community. There will be many years of fun family events and adventurous play dates.


We promise to provide your child with unconditional love, a comforting home, a fantastic education, and endless support in all he/she sets out to do in life. We look forward to getting to know you. We believe it is important for your child to know the love you have for them and that love is what brought them into our family. Meet Dan

Dan is the most amazing person on the planet. He is everything that I ever wanted in a husband, and our son, Garrett, is so lucky to have him as a father. He is kind, patient, and hard-working. He loves to spend his free time playing with Garrett and teaching him new things. I am 

so proud of the parent he is; Dan was meant to be a father. 

Meet Mark

He gets on the floor to race cars, is ready to give it his all playing sports (catch, wrestle, or just run loops in the house), and enjoys playing board games or putting together puzzles. He is an amazing father! Mark gives Gideon his baths and runs the bedtime routine every night. They play hard and giggle A LOT. Gideon loves to welcome Dad home from work, keeps an eye on Dad while he's cooking dinner, and picks up on Dad's jokes and tricks.

    • Our Story

    We met in 2009 after being invited to hang out with our mutual friend, Brian, and his group of friends. Brian and I grew up together. Julie knew Brian from college, and for a short time, they dated. Everyone met in downtown Milwaukee at the Safe House - a mystery/detective-themed restaurant and bar that requires a password to get in.

    Julie was the last to arrive and had only planned to stay for a short time. As soon as I saw her, I knew I had to meet her. We sat together and talked the rest of the night. We had so much fun getting to know each other that Julie ended up staying till the end. I had hoped to get her number, but unfortunately, the right time never presented itself. So, the night ended with a "Nice to meet you."

    At the time, I lived an hour away. On our way home we both thought about how great the night was and how disappointed we were that I didn't get Julie's number. I thought about asking Brian for it, but luckily, he sent out a group email the next day. So, what did I do? That's right - I sent Julie an e-mail right away. Luckily for me, she was hoping I would reach out.

    After two weeks of chatting, we started dating. We were happy to find one another and dated long distances for nearly a full year before I proposed at the same spot where we first met: The Safe House.


    We got married on a warm July day in 2011. We had a rainbow wedding, and our wedding party wore yellow, green, blue, and violet. We took photos in downtown Milwaukee at all of the iconic locations. We had about 130 of our closest family and friends attend, including Julie's nearly 89-year-old grandma and a couple who had been married almost 65 years!

    • Meet Gideon

    Our son Gideon loves to smile and include everyone in playing with his toys. He enjoys snuggling while reading books and watching TV. He loves being outside: going for walks, helping in the garden, playing on the playground, and running around with the neighbors. He knows everything about Disney's Cars characters, enjoys our weekly visit to the library, and has become very good at navigating our local roadways - he can tell you every road to take from our house to Grandma and Grandpa's house.


    Gideon is part Filipino. We have watched an episode of Blue's Clues and You! in which Josh, who is Filipino, and Blue bake a bibingka (a Filipino coconut cake) to share with Josh's Lola (grandma). We have talked about how different cultures and ethnicities have special foods and terms of endearment for family members. He also picks up names like Abuela and Tío and Tía by watching Rosie's Rules and Alma's Way on PBS Kids.


    We are beyond blessed to have Gideon as our son! All of our extended family has welcomed Gideon with an abundance of love since he joined our family through adoption. We know he will like having a sibling since he already loves to hang out with his cousins and easily befriends kids at the playground.

    Our Home

    Our two story house is located in a safe neighborhood with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. We have lots of indoor play space and natural light with toys, books, and baby gear for Gideon and his sibling to play with when that time comes.


    Our backyard has open space to run around and play. We have a garden where we grow many flowers, veggies, and fruits. This allows us to eat several fresh, healthy meals during the summer and fall. Canned or Frozen! Jams or Jellies! Salsas and Relishes! We enjoy our harvests all year round!

    Our friendly neighbors have children of all ages, including an adopted child. We live close to several friends and Julie's parents. An elementary school, parks, trails, and a martial arts/gymnastics facility are also nearby.


    Our safe and culturally diverse community has a phenomenal school district, athletics, and great recreation programs. The library downtown offers many activities for kids, and a new local favorite hang-out is the splash pad!

    • Mark's Family

    I am the youngest in a family of 5. My parents raised us in a loving home and taught us that hard work pays off. We enjoyed family meals together and helped out on our hobby farm. My parents (both still working) live about 90 minutes away, and we see them for family celebrations and holidays. They love to spoil Gideon with hugs and good food. They truly soak up the time they spend with him. Soon, he will be able to help Grandma in her garden and Grandpa in the bee yard.


    My oldest brother is married and has 3 young kids. We love to join them in the sandbox, read to them, and play with tractors and dolls. Gideon is one of their favorite cousins, and they like to share their toys and play with him. I am the fun, outgoing uncle affectionately known as Uncle Tickle Monster. 


    My middle brother has two teenage kids. We enjoy supporting our nephew at his sporting events and our niece at her FFA animal showings at local county fairs. We encourage the kids through the ups and downs and help them reach their goals.

    I am the oldest child in a family of 5. My parents raised us in a loving, supportive home. We shared meals and enjoyed traveling and playing games. My parents (both retired) live just across town, so we see them frequently at church, the grocery store, and get-togethers. They spend a lot of quality time with Gideon and babysit when needed: reading books, getting onto the floor to play with him and showering him with hugs. Gideon loves his Grandma and Grandpa so much!


    My sister is married and has 2 young kids. We get together every month and love spending time with our niece and nephew. I am also blessed to be our niece's Godmother. It is fun to see the bond that is growing between Gideon and his cousins. They love to make him laugh and smile.


    My brother is a great uncle. He enjoys taking his niece and nephews to baseball games and teaching them how to play original Nintendo games. He loves playing them outside on the playground and riding bikes/trikes down the street! Both of our families can't wait to share their love and attention with another child!

    • Fun Times Ahead

    We live an active life, and throughout the year, we enjoy various activities centered around spending quality time with our friends and family. We enjoy being outdoors, going to the zoo, taking Gideon and his cousins to the park, riding rides at the amusement park, running, bicycling, walking on our local trails, visiting children's museums, and finding new activities to do together as a family. We have a lot of fun together and can't wait to experience it all with another little one.


    We go on an annual camping/glamping trip with a group of college friends and their families. Since Gideon joined our family, we have stayed at a resort or a family's home. We enjoy campfires, hiking, exploring local trails, and spending time with one another.

    We are big sports fans! Whether it's the Milwaukee Brewers, Wisconsin Badgers, Madison Mallards, or the Green Bay Packers. We love being at the game cheering on our favorite teams!


    Gideon has already attended a Brewers baseball game and is a fan of football, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and his cousins who play pee-wee and varsity football.

    We love to see new places! It is fun to try new foods, experience new cultures, and take on a new adventure. Who can forget taking a spin with Lightning McQueen and parasailing. We visit state and national parks and enjoy visiting warmer states with beaches during the cold winter months. We have started traveling with Gideon and recently visited the Indianapolis Zoo.


    We look forward to a family trip to Disney World, riding rollercoasters at theme parks, and dipping our toes in the sand! We can't wait to watch our children experience new adventures across the world!

    We spend holidays with family and have many family traditions. We alternate yearly which side of the family we see for Easter. Mark's side has an Easter egg hunt, and Julie's side attends Mass before sitting down for a meal and games. The Easter bunny brought Gideon a pair of gardening boots, crayons, and Reese's eggs- Yum!


    The fourth of July is spent here in town with Julie's side. We attend the parade, visit the park with bouncy houses and ring toss games, grill out, and watch the fireworks. Throughout June, breakfast-on-the-farm celebrates dairy farmers. The host farm displays its equipment and farming methods as well as provides a farm-fresh breakfast typically consisting of pancakes, sausages, eggs, yogurt, squeaky cheese curds, milk, and, of course, ice cream! Gideon likes to see the farm animals we read about in his books and pretends he's driving the big farm tractors.


    On Halloween, we trick-or-treat, sometimes get silly, and dress up with Gideon. We also get together with our families to celebrate birthdays and baptisms. Thanksgiving day is split between our families, each one with a large meal. We typically watch football, play games, and prepare for our Black Friday shopping.


    For Christmas, we put up our Advent Jesse Tree, set up the nativity scene under our fresh-cut tree, and enjoy driving or walking around the neighborhood to see all the lights. Gideon visits Santa and enjoys all the gifts he receives since he's on the nice list. He, of course, loves playing with his new toys and everyone that is around him! We bake a large assortment of cookies on Julie's side. On Mark's side, we open gifts on Christmas Eve and have a steak dinner.

Let us begin by introducing ourselves; we are Jamey and Amanda. We live in a rural town in Wisconsin. Jamey and I have been married for 12 years and together for 16 years. From the beginning, starting a family and having children was always in the plans; however, it seemed God's plan for growing our family differed from what we initially thought. We had two miscarriages, and after several years of undiagnosed infertility issues, we chose to grow our family through adoption. In 2018, our family grew through adoption with the birth of our son, Jameson. Then, in 2020, our family grew once more with the birth of our daughter, Poppy. They have both brought so much joy and laughter to our lives. They are close in age and have a great connection and bond. Jameson is an amazing big brother who looks forward to having another younger sibling. While Poppy is young, she will make a great big sister. We both have siblings we are close to and are excited to see the close bond that will develop between the three of them. We are fortunate to have such a supportive family who has been there every step of the way. They have so much love for our children, and they are excited to watch our family grow. We have been married for nine years and have a son named Easton. Easton has battled some medical complications during his early years in life, but he hasn’t let that stop him from having fun.     Hello & Thank You , Our names are Jessica and Bryan and we are so grateful for you taking the time to consider us as you make plans for your child and evaluate your options. We pray that you are getting all of the support you need during what we imagine is a very uncertain and difficult time in your life. We may never know what you are experiencing, and we thank you for doing everything you can to think, dream and hope for this baby and their future. We trust that what you decide is right. We have been together for almost 16 years and married for close to 14. As we entered our 10th year together, we started to think seriously about starting a family. After many months of trying, we decided we might need help. In 2019, after more than a year of testing, and waiting, we became pregnant just two weeks before undergoing IUI treatment. Sadly, the pregnancy was not viable, and we lost our angel baby. We prayerfully considered whether it was time to fulfill our dream of adoption, which had always been something we’d wanted in our life even if we were blessed with a biological child. We feel very ready to become parents to a precious child and can’t wait to share our love of family with them. There are also several grandmas, grandpas, aunties, and uncles that are excitedly waiting to welcome a new baby to snuggle. Your child will never have to wonder who is in their corner. We are Benny and Vanessa, a loving couple from Texas who have long dreamed of becoming parents. We have been married for 18 years, and we are more in love than ever. The journey to parenthood has not been without its challenges for us. After trying for several years, we discovered we would likely not be able to have kids of our own. We tried everything – including three IVF treatments that were not successful. We were devastated but knew that God had a plan for our family. Our adoption journey has given us new hope and light in our lives. We love children and cannot imagine going through life without a family. We genuinely believe that adoption is a beautiful way to create a family, and we would be honored if you chose us to be the adoptive parents for your child.     Hello & Thank You , My name is Kerstin, and I'm so grateful to you for considering me and my son Malakai as a possible match for you and your child. A single person might not have been your first thought for your child, but I have just as much support and love to give as a couple would have - or even more! My life is rich with family, friends, and opportunities. I have a successful career that provides my family with the resources to explore the world and experience new things. I would love the opportunity to share these wonderful experiences with your child. Malakai (Kai for short) was adopted at birth and is two years old. We have an open relationship with his birth mom and often send her pictures and videos. I am open and committed to whatever type of communication you would like. I want you to know that your child will always know their adoption story and the love you have for them. I am happy to answer any questions you have so that you can make the best decision for you and your baby. As you'll see in this profile, I have a deep love and appreciation for all different cultures, and I love to learn about people and places all over the world. Travel has been a big part of my life, and I also appreciate and value diversity close to home. We live on a street with families of many different backgrounds, and the schools and businesses in our neighborhood also reflect that diversity.  I love languages and have studied Spanish and Haitian Creole. The public elementary school closest to our home is a dual immersion bilingual school (Spanish and English). I would love for Malakai and any future child I might have to attend this school because I highly value bilingual language skills and the opportunity to build relationships with classmates and teachers of many different backgrounds.     Hello & Thank You , We cannot begin to understand what you are going through, but we admire the strength and love it takes to make this difficult decision for your baby and yourself. The gift you bless a couple with will be cherished and never forgotten. Our names are Joseph and Brandi. Our journey to becoming a family has been a long one. Very early in our relationship, we knew we wanted a family one day, and we had always envisioned ourselves as parents. We began trying to start our family right after we got married, but infertility issues have prevented us from growing our family. Having been through multiple rounds of fertility treatments with no luck, we decided that the time, money, and emotions we were dedicating to this process could be better spent on another avenue to parenthood: adoption. Adoption is an option that I, Brandi, am familiar with. When I was 10 years old, I found out my mom placed my sister for adoption. Many adoptions were closed back then, so, unfortunately, we know nothing about her. While this has been painful for my family, my mother knew she did what was best for her as she was very young and unable to give her the life she felt she deserved. From my experience with adoption and knowing that it’s how we will be growing our family, I can promise that your child will know their adoption story from the beginning. They will know of you, your courage, strength, and the love you have for them. You will never feel the pain of not knowing them or of them not knowing you. We promise to provide your child with a loving and nurturing home. We will raise them with the values and morals of putting family first, recognizing and embracing our differences, celebrating our unique journey to becoming a family and celebrating the little things that make us who we are. We have so many loving friends and family members that are supportive and excited to welcome your child into their hearts, and we plan to lean on them for support and guidance along the way.  We have so much love in our lives; we know our lives will be enriched by sharing that love with a child. We hope this book will give you an idea of who we are and what we have to offer your child.     Hello & Thank You , First, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us as adoptive parents to your child. We are truly grateful and admire your heart in this difficult decision. We are praying for you and your child. We want you to know that we honor your love and value your thoughts and concerns for your child’s future. Our names are Eugenio (E.R.) and Roseanne. We have been together for 17 years and married for 11 years. Our plans to have children were from the beginning of our relationship. Like the scripture says in Isaiah 55:8-10, God’s plans are not our plans. We were told we could not have children without treatments, so we did IVF. We did 3 rounds of IVF and were excited to get positive results. We lived in joy for a short moment until we suffered a miscarriage. Since that time went back 8 more times to do IVF with our last attempt in 2020, with no positive results. Our hopes and prayers kept us going, and we know that no matter what, we are still seeking and asking through prayers for our family to grow. We have a deep-rooted desire in our hearts to have children, and becoming parents is our dream come true. We are so ready to love a child unconditionally and to know and experience the joy of becoming parents. We both have loving families, friends, and church families who are just as excited as we are to pour love onto a child. They support us in our walk of faith and this journey to extend our family. For us, raising a child will mean showing them we love them daily. Supporting them in every way we can with their hobbies and activities, and most of all, showing them how valuable they are. We plan to always have lots of fun adventures, walking next to them in every moment of their lives. If you choose us to be part of your adoption plan, it's important for you to know that your child will be loved and protected by us. They will know their adoption story and would love to share stories you want us to share with your child. We will honor your thoughts and celebrate your love for your child. Your child will always know that they are so special to us all. We are committed to providing your child with love, prayers, and a supportive home.     Hello & Thank You , We want to thank you for taking the time to get to know us. While we cannot imagine the feelings you have or will experience in your decision to create an adoption plan for your child, we hope you feel loved and supported, and we personally want you to know how brave and selfless we think you are. We are Andy and Mandy, and we currently share our home and lives with 2 very different yet equally fun and snuggly doggos, Sophie and Maxx. Andy and I have been married for 8 years and together for just over 20 years. Our early years in our relationship were spent having fun, growing as individuals and as a couple, and then establishing our careers. We knew early into our marriage we wanted a family. We tried for years to grow our family on our own, but through many different tests and treatments, we realized that may not be something we are able to do. Throughout our relationship, we had always been open to adoption; many friends and family have shared their journey with adoption and fostering, so our hearts were always open to this, and we have seen that biology doesn’t define the love and care provided to a child. Because of our family's experience in adoption and fostering, we know the importance of your child understanding their birth story, where they came from, and how truly special they and their birth family are to us.     Hello & Thank You , We would like to personally thank you for taking the time to look at our profile and get to know us. We are excited and humbled to show you our family. We can't truly understand the feelings you are experiencing, but we will try our best to be there for you and bring comfort to you in any way possible with God's help. We wear our hearts on our sleeves and hope to show you that through these pages with us, you can find peace knowing your child will have a loving and nurturing home. We are Patrick and Holly, and we have been married for 14 years. After trying to start a family, we quickly discovered that it would be very difficult for us to conceive naturally. After struggling for six years with infertility, we decided that adoption was the next step of our journey in creating a family. We believe all along that God was calling us to adoption. We adopted our son Caleb 2 years ago and are excited to expand our family again. He is truly our rainbow after the storm. People would describe us as genuine, fun, loving, and family-oriented. We will raise your child with Christian beliefs and help them become the person they were made to be by supporting them and helping them find their gifts and talents. We have amazing friends and family who cannot wait to welcome in and love your child unconditionally.
